We’ve recently made a couple of quick updates to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages to improve transparency and ensure our documentation is clear for the classrooms and creators who use our tools.
Here are the two specific changes we’ve implemented:
- Data Breach Notification Protocol: We have formalized our internal security protocols. In the rare event of a confirmed security incident involving user data, we have added a clause committing to directly notify affected educators via email and via a prominent notice on the platform within 72 hours.
- Clearer Policy Change Notifications: We have updated our documents to align on how we communicate future changes. Moving forward, any material updates to our Terms or Privacy Policy will be announced right here in the news and blog feed on our homepage before taking effect.
These updates don’t change how the app functions day-to-day, but they ensure we have a clear, documented process for keeping you informed. You can view the updated language on our standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages.
